Cookies Policy

Effective August 10, 2026

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Riggr, operated by Best & Basic Inc., uses cookies only where they are necessary for the app to function. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.

Strictly-necessary cookies

These cookies are required for Riggr to function. Blocking them will break sign-in and the install flow.

  • authjs.session-token / __Secure-authjs.session-token — your signed-in session with Riggr. Set by Auth.js after magic- link sign-in. Cleared on sign-out or session expiry.
  • rg_new_key / rg_new_key_label — one-time delivery of a freshly generated API key to the NewKeyReveal modal after project creation or key rotation. HttpOnly, 60-second TTL, deleted on first read.
  • rg_subscribed_celebrate — one-shot flag that fires the post-subscribe confetti on the Connect AI onboarding step. HttpOnly, 10-minute TTL, deleted on first read.
  • Shopify OAuth state cookies — short-lived signed nonce cookies (installer intent, subscription-return URL, OAuth CSRF state) used during the Shopify install and billing flows. Each is scoped to its route and expires within 15 minutes.

Analytics and advertising cookies

Riggr does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add third-party analytics later, we will update this page, notify active subscribers before the change takes effect where required, and introduce consent controls before any non-essential cookies are set.

How to manage cookies

Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be disabled in-product without breaking sign-in, install, and key delivery. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; doing so may sign you out of Riggr:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third- party cookies / site settings.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Block all cookies (or Prevent cross-site tracking).
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.

Why we don’t show a consent banner today

Every cookie Riggr sets today is used only to provide a feature you explicitly initiate, signing in, creating a project, rotating a key, completing Shopify install or billing. We treat these as strictly-necessary for the service. If we later add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will add an appropriate consent mechanism before those cookies are set.
