Real fixes for real problems. Ordered from most-common to least.
Before diving into specific issues: restart your AI tool. Many transient MCP issues are fixed by a fresh session. If your AI is Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, quit and relaunch. If Claude Desktop or ChatGPT, restart the app.
The primary Autopilot path loads Sparks over MCP. The file your AI must find on disk is the project API key .env, not a prompt .md.
If you've tried all the above and Riggr still doesn't work, real next steps:
Open a project. Connection badges under the title show Shopify / AI / API / Spark. The right-rail build status shows Not started, Active, Quiet, or Issue. Setup incomplete banners link to the next unfinished step.
Visit /dashboard for Quick Start pills and the sidebar Setup required banner if setup is still incomplete.
If Claude Code isn't working, try Cursor or Codex. Chat surfaces (Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, ChatGPT) are for store Q&A only — they won't fix an Autopilot build. If no coding agent works, the issue is likely in Riggr or Shopify.
Nuclear option. Uninstall from Connections → Shopify or Shopify Admin, then reinstall from the Shopify App Store. Fixes ~80% of issues that don't have obvious causes.
Use the in-app support chat (bottom of the product), or email. Include your store's .myshopify.com domain, your AI tool name, and the exact error message you're seeing. Screenshots help.
